Descripción
Small wild member of the cat family (Felidae) native to Europe, western Asia, and Africa. It is a hunter of small mammals, birds, and other creatures. The wild cat is of a light to medium gray color and has a tabby coat with rather thin strips. It resembles a domestic tabby cat. Some classifications include it as a single species with Felis domesticus, which is descended from Felis silvestris.
