Descripción

General term referring to several species of the genus Corvus, characterized as being heavily billed, dark, intelligent birds. Ravens are distinguished from their close relatives the various species of crows in the genus Corvus in that the raven has a heavier bill and shaggier, more lustrous plumage than the crow, especially around the throat.
