Descripción
Members of a genus of terrestrial worm with a body divided into ringlike segments; having some internal organs, including the excretory organs, duplicated in each segment; having a clitellum, a slightly bulged, discolored organ that produces a cocoon for enclosing the earthworm's eggs, located between segments 32 and 37; a body tapered at both ends, with the tail end the blunter of the two; and being unable to see or hear, but having sensitivity to both light and vibrations.
