Artistic directors

People in an executive position in an arts organization or theater company whose responsibilities include making the final choice of the material staged in a season, the hiring of creative and production personnel, and other high level management tasks. For those in non-executive positions who formulate concepts and supervise the execution of the visual appearance of a publication or performing arts production, use "art directors."
