Descripción
Refers to the angle at which a liquid or vapor makes contact with a solid surface. Contact angle quantifies the ability of a liquid to maintain contact with a solid surface. It is used, for example, as a measure of comparison for water droplets deposited on a flat stone surface before and after a water repellent coating has been applied to it, the difference in contact angle supplying information about surface hydrophobization.
