Descripción
A data transfer technique that allows the user to access audio and video media via the Internet without downloading the entirety of a very large file. A host or source "streams" packets of information to the user in smaller increments as it is viewed. Unlike downloads, streaming video is not intended to be retained as a file on a viewer's computer.
