Descripción
Decorated storehouses built by the Maori of New Zealand. The carvings on the storehouses are elaborate designs that advertise the village wealth. The structures were used to keep preserved fish, meat, and other food, as well as to store mats, weapons, agricultural tools, and fishing equipment.
