In biology, refers to a tight cluster or group, where the bundles originate from a common point or are running parallel to a common axis. Examples include a cluster of leaves or flowers with very short stalks growing closely together at the base, a bunch of roots growing from one point, or a cluster or bundle of muscles, nerves, or veins or arteries in an animal. It may also refer to an arrangement of wires, cords, or other natural or artificial material that resembles a biological fascicle.
