Practicamente todas sus obras llevan su título. En este caso podemos leer Marguerite. Muchos de los bustos están basados en temas musicales: Retratos de grandes cantantes de la época o personajes femeninos de las principales óperas. También destacan sus temas mitológicos o bíblicos. Modeladas con suavidad en sus formas que reflejan mucha dulzura estas bellísimas mujeres, llenas de historia. Este soberbio bronce patinado, se encuentra firmado en el lateral, aludiendo a la protagonista de Fausto, Margarita. Toda su producción es reconocible ya que cuenta con una factura característica, este artista adscrito al movimiento modernista.</dc:description>

Fue uno de los artistas escultores más productivos a lo largo del final del siglo XIX. Artista de su tiempo, realizó esculturas de heroínas de la ópera, la literatura o de la mitología . Sus bustos de mujer en bronce, fundidos por la Société des Bronzes de Paris, fueron exportados desde París a todo el mundo, particularmente a los Estados Unidos. Hoy en día sus esculturas pueden ser encontradas regularmente en las subastas.</skos:note>
