Prefería, sobre todo, representar ajos, cebollas y jarros, ante los bodegones de carne o animales ya que conllevaba de forma intrínseca un perjuicio en torno al sufrimiento de él. Este pintor, en definitiva, emulaba a los grandes maestros en cuanto al género, de siglos anteriores, tanto del XVII o del XVIII. A nivel compositivo, un modo de disponer e iluminar, cada uno de los elementos que configuran la escena, al estilo de Juan de Var de Hamen y León, Juan el Labrador o porque no, Luis Egidio Meléndez.</dc:description>
