Descripción

Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) uses the techniques of gas- chromatography and mass spectrometry in tandem to identify substances in complex mixtures within a test sample. It is a standard tool of forensics. In conservation, GC-MS is employed to determine the presence and type of organic compounds in paintings and other artifacts.
