Paraloid B-44 (TM)

Trademarked name for a thermoplastic acrylic resin composed of an ethyl acrylate and a methyl methacrylate copolymer. It supplies a hard, clear protective coating for metals but is subject to biodeterioration, and yellowing over time; formerly called Acryloid B-44 in the United States.
