Descripción

Species of tree native to Sri Lanka, India, and Malaya, used as medicine, as an anti-bacterial, as an anti-coagulant, for reddish dye called brazilin used for dyeing fabric as well as making red paints and inks, and for its wood, which is somewhat lighter in color than Brazilwood.
