Descripción
Plants having seeds inclosed in a seed-vessel possessing the distinctive feature, the flower, which is a cluster of highly-specialized leaves that participate in reproduction. There are perhaps as many as 400,000 species of flowering plants. The classification of angiosperms is in flux, with newer divisions called the "APG system" (organized by the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group).
