Descripción

Genus containing around 9 species of common saprobic fungi that reproduce by vegetative, asexual, and sexual methods by spores. Members are found on various plants and as specialized parasites on animals, including humans. They are found on a wide variety of organic substrates, including mature fruits and vegetables, feces, jellies, syrups, leather, bread, peanuts, and tobacco.
