Descripción

Legendary creatures, from the Greek meaning "every wild beast," that often take the form of a large cat with a multi-colored coat, but may also be in the form of another animal or a composite creature. The ancient Greeks believed the panther was one of the favored mounts of the god Dionysus. In Medieval legend, the panther would sleep in a cave after feasting upon prey, and after three days emitted a sweet odor from its mouth, to draw additional prey into the cave.
