Descripción
Refers to collage artists who use torn posters to create their works. Usually the term is reserved for artists associated with the Nouveau Réalistes, who began creating similar works in the 1950s and early 1960s: François Dufrène, Jacques de la Villeglé, Raymond Hains, and Mimmo Rotella, though it is often used for others whose work involves torn and collaged commercial posters.
