Putti (children)

General term for representations of nude, chubby toddlers, typically male and often with wings, derived from personifications of Eros in Greek and Roman art and Cherubim of Christian tradition. They most frequently appear in both mythological and religious art of the Renaissance, Baroque, and Victorian periods.
