Descripción
A theater production system based on a permanent association of actors, and often a particular location or theater structure. Professional theater companies evolved during the Renaissance in response to urbanization in the major countries of Europe. Modern theater companies follow the same model as the earliest ones: a group of actors, scenarists, and technicians devoted to presenting theatrical performances.
