Descripción

The maximum pulling or ductile stress that a material can be subjected too without breakage. It is usually measured by taking a bar of the material and stretching it to destruction. The ultimate tensile strength is the maximum load divided by the bar's cross-sectional area and is measured in newtons per square meter.
