Descripción
The measure of unsaturated fatty acid in a fat, oil, or wax obtained by counting the number of grams of iodine absorbed by 100 grams of the material. The more saturated the substance, the smaller the iodine number will be. Relatively unsaturated oils, waxes, fats will have a higher iodine value.
