Descripción
A need-based or merit-based financial award given to a student, usually from the funds of a school, college, or university, for the purpose of defraying the cost of education. Distinct from fellowships in that scholarships are awarded to members of an undergraduate community, rather than graduates, and the course of study is unspecified.
