Biomes that have cold, long, snowy winters, and warm, humid summers, with well-defined seasons and at least four to six frost-free months; temperatures range -40 to 20 degrees C, and rainfall is 300-900 mm per year. They are characterized by coniferous-evergreen trees and are locatged in North America, Europe, and Asia.
