Habitat

Ecological or environmental areas that are inhabited by particular species of animals or plants and contain the materials and conditions necessary for their survival. For the aggregates of influences affecting organisms, use "environments (object groupings)." For areas set apart as protected for plants or animals, use "wildlife refuges."
