Descripción
Refers in a general sense to a spiritual quest for hidden truth, the goal of which is to be united with the divine. It also refers more specifically to a belief in the existence of important realities beyond perceptual or intellectual understanding that are accessible by subjective experience, such as by intuition or meditation. Forms of mysticism are found in all major religions as well as in secular experience.
