Descripción
Refers to the work of a group of artists exhibiting in New York in the mid-1980s. Incorporating ideas from earlier movements such as Dada, Hard-Edge, and Pop, the work is purposefully calculating and intellectual and includes paintings in flat, Dayglo colors, kitsch objects, and sculpture made out of consumer products.
