Descripción

Refers to the style of painting and sculpture inspired by the Dada movement, and first seen in the works of artists Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg in the late 1950s. The style is characterized by the use of ready-made motifs such as flags, maps, and numbers, popular images such as comic strips, and mass media images. The style has been seen as the prototype to Pop Art.
