Describes the various types of artwork created by the Maori aboriginal community, native inhabitants of modern New Zealand. Some of the more specialized forms of art for the Maori were architectural ornamentation, tattooing, dog skin and feather weaving and weaponry design. Since the islands settlement, their art has experienced much change.
