Descripción

Describes the various types of artwork created by the inhabitants of the Manus Islands. The artwork of the peoples of Manus consists primarily of human woodcarvings, commonly in combination with crocodiles and fish. Wooden beds were produced by the Manus people; Manus beds were the only large furniture produced in Melanesia.
