Style of textiles, particularly rugs, handmade in the village of Joshaqan, north of Esfahan in central Iran. A great variety of rugs has been attributed by various writers to this small place, including Kerman vase carpets, other silk rugs, and rugs with pronounced Kurdish characteristics.
