Descripción
Refers to any English-Viking cultural interaction during the middle ages. Anglo-Scandinavian also more narrowly denotes the period and style in York, England between the death of Eric Bloodaxe in 954 and the arrival of the Normans in 1068 during which Viking influence coexisted with English rule.
