Style in imitation of Wemyss ware and produced by the Kirkcaldy pottery of David Methven and Sons. The Kirkcaldy pottery is near the Fife Pottery which produced Wemyss ware. Abbotsford ware may indeed have been decorated by artists from the Fife Pottery.
