Descripción

Style focusing on artistic iconoclasm and the breaking down of the traditional boundaries of academicians, abandoning realism in favor of methods intended to cause an intuitive response in the perceiver. The style was influenced by the philosophy of Henri Bergson, son of a Polish Jewish musician. The style in art, writing, and music was explored in the journal Rhythm, founded by John Middleton Murry.
