Descripción
Refers to the Italian style of pottery produced in the region of Abruzzo in the 17th and 18th centuries. Initially derivative of istoriato ware, the style developed local character with the use of naturalistic colors such as olive green, brown, and yellow, and religious, mythological, and landscape themes based on the work of Baroque artists.
