Refers to the phase of Villanovan style and culture defined by artifacts at the type sites west of Bologna, on land owned by the Benacci family. It is tyically divided into Benacci I, lasting from around 1050 BCE to around 900 BCE, and Benacci II, lasting from around 900 BCE to around 700 BCE.
