Descripción
Refers to the Egyptian pottery style produced during the Amratian period from about 4000 to 3200 BCE. The style is characterized by burnished Nile clay vessels coated with ochre and decorated with either geometric designs, imitating basketry or woven cloth, or abstracted figures of animals, human beings, and plants in white gypsum pigment.
