Descripción
The culture and style of artistic production on the Aegean island of Melos. Important during the Bronze Age for its obsidian quarries, the island is known for Geometric style pottery between roughly 2300 and 2000 BCE and later, for Black-and-red style pottery. Artistic production after the Cycladic period shows the influence of Minoan then Mycenean culture.
