Descripción

Refers to the style of marble, folded-arm type figurines produced in the Cycladic archipelago during the Early Cycladic period. Named for the site of discovery in a cemetery on Amorgos, they are characterized by slender yet naturalistic proportions and rounded forms found especially in the shape of the head.
