Descripción
Refers to the Greek style of artistic production during the 7th century BCE but mainly indicative of the characteristics of figural representation. Named for Daedalus, a legendary architect and patron of craftsmen, the style features figures with columnar bodies decorated with incised patterns denoting fabric, simplified anatomy, large heads, wide flat faces, staring expressions, and hair arranged in stylized rows.
