Refers to a style of Late Minoan pottery that developed under the patronage of the rulers of the new palaces. It is characterized by exhuberant painted decoration that depicts plants, especially ivy, grass, reeds, palms, and flowers, especially daisies and imaginary hybrids based on papyrus and lilies.
