Descripción

Refers to the style developed in Cyprus during the 9th century BCE when Phoenicians established a colony at the city of Kition in Cyprus. The style is characterized by strong Phoenician influences seen particularly on metal bowls with embossed scenes on their inside, and was an important source of iconography for Cypriote art.
