Descripción

Refers to the pottery styles found at the site of Tepe Sialk in the Iranian central plateau dating from about 6000 to 3000 BCE. Different styles correspond to each of the four stages of the settlement sequence revealed in excavations but generally the pottery is known for its elaborate painted decoration.
