Descripción

Refers to the pottery style found in the Konya plain of southern Anatolia from about 3300 to 2500 BCE. The pottery is handmade and well fired with sharp profiles and beveled edges. It is characterized by a pale red or buff body often decorated with white, red, or orange painted hatching, stripes, or wavy lines and later with overall brown or purplish paint.
