Descripción
Refers to a Neolithic style and culture that flourished in the fourth and third millennia BCE north of the Black Sea. It is named for its distinctive Kurgan, or burial tumulus, and is also characterized by an emphasis on the horse and wheel technology. Many scholars believe this group is key to the expansion of Indo-Europeans across Eurasia.
