Refers to period of the reign of King Jayavarman VIII (1243-1295 CE). The style of the period reflects the massive scale building projects of the preceding reign. One significant example of architectural and sculptural achievements of this period exists in the Mangalartha temple located in the north-east of Angkor Thom.
