Descripción

Refers to the style of porcelain made in China which formed part of the cargo of Portuguese carracks captured on the high seas by the Dutch in 1600 and taken to Holland for sale. The style is characterized by a blue underglaze. Kraak was made during the reign of Wan-li (1573-1619), and was later copied in tin-enamelware in Delft.
