Descripción
Refers to the style of famille verte porcelain that developed during the reign of emperor K'ang-hsi (1662-1722). The style is characterized by refined wares, most notably a series of plates that are extremely white, thin and translucent. Images include birds on branches and beautiful women, and the flattened rim is decorated with a diaper pattern in red with cartouches bearing inscriptions.
