Descripción
Refers to the style of porcelain that developed during the reign of emperor Hsuan-te, 1426-1435. The style is characterized by blue and white wares with great attention to strong lines and a balance of design in proportion to the entire surface. There is a depth and intensity to the thickly applied blue paint, and an undulating appearance to the glazed surface.
