Descripción
Refers to the style of artifacts found at the site of Cheng-chou, south of the Yellow River in the modern day province of Honan, dating around 1300 BCE. Royal tombs as well as ordinary cemeteries have yielded a vast quantity of artifacts, most notably gray pottery and bronze objects belonging to the first phase of Shang culture.
