Refers to the Hailhzaqvla, or Heiltsuk language-speaking people that inhabit the area around Bella Bella, British Columbia. Historically, the people that inhabit Bella Bella have been referred to as "Bella Bella Indians." The correct term to refer to the larger culture, and to describe the art and artifacts of this people, is "Heiltsuk."
